The London Fitness Lowdown: February EditBy Adam Hassanali
We love starting the new year with a fresh outlook, but what we don’t love is the bombardment of diet plans, macro counting and ‘healthy’ food swaps. We should cherish our food and enjoy our meals, for us at About Time it’s all about balance. If you’re finding your feet fitness-wise, or ready to try something new – we’ve discovered the best new classes and events in London and *hint* Reformer is taking over London this year! It may be a new year, but we’re not striving to be ‘new’ – we’re still the same person, and we’re totally ok with that. Let’s get ready to sweat:
1. For Reformer: Reformcore
The Lowdown: The minds behind Barrecore have come together to create a class that elevates the Reformer Pilates experience to be more efficient and effective than ever. 50-minute classes that are meticulously designed by expert trainers for power, strength, and core fitness. Featuring 10 state-of-the-art Reformer Pilates machines and equipment, Reformcore derives its techniques from the core fitness experts at Barrecore.
The playlist takes centre stage, guiding each person through a sensory and musical journey. Beginning with a meditative energy, the class then transitions to rhythmic bass mirroring the body’s movement, building to a trance-like state of focus, and finishing the session with a powerful mantra to recentre the soul and leave the class on a high.

Taking place on one of the studio’s plush reformer machines, these exciting, cardio-focused sessions are centred around the jump board. Expect a high-intensity workout on the reformer to kickstart the new year.
