R.A.D®, the performance footwear and apparel brand known for blending performance with skate and surf culture, is proud to announce the launch of R.A.D® X Polartec® fleece, their first outerwear line. 

R.A.D: The Lowdown

At the core of this fleece collection is the highly-adaptable, 100% recycled Polartec® Thermal Pro™. It keeps heat in when it’s needed and lets it out when it’s not.

Polar fleece became a staple for outdoor enthusiasts in the 80s, the collection taps into nostalgia whilst delivering a durable performance fleece that provides warmth without weight.

Polartec® fleece was worn by the first Americans to summit K2, the world’s hardest mountain to climb. R.A.D®’s Polartec® collection combines performance and style. Showing their commitment to choosing materials and partners that deliver market-leading performance features.

  • Unisex Polartec® Fleece Sweatpant – £90/$90/€90
    Designed with segmented side pockets for secure stowing and warm hands, woven knee patches for a retro yet futuristic edge, and a fully adjustable drawcord waist and ankle cuffs for custom comfort. The sweatpants are perfect for warming up or cooling down and are available in both Off White and Black.
  • Women’s Polartec® Cropped Qtr-Zip Fleece – £95/$95/€95
    Featuring Polartec® Thermal Pro(™) fleece, this versatile cropped fleece delivers optimal warmth and breathability. It includes an elasticated waist, adjustable cuffs, and woven branded detailing, bringing a relaxed, stylish aesthetic to any outfit. Available in Off White and Black.
  • Men’s Polartec® Full-Zip Jacket – £105/$105/€105
    Offering a tailored fit with an adjustable waist and cuffs, this jacket provides both freedom of movement and protection against the elements. Reinforced construction adds durability, while segmented pockets and woven patches lend a unique look. Available in Off White and Black.

Each piece in the collection is made from 100% Polartec® recycled polyester fleece, renowned for its insulating air pockets that trap body heat and maintain breathability, ensuring wearers stay warm yet comfortable across a range of conditions.

R.A.D: Goes Live

The Polartec collection launches globally on Thursday, 31st October at 11am ET/ 3pm GMT and will be available exclusively at rad-global.com. All items come in a range of sizes designed for an inclusive fit, with adjustable features on both jackets and pants to cater to various body types.
