About Time: You Tried Morning Yoga at Sky GardenBy Angelica Malin
Downward dog in London’s highest green oasis – that’s Sky Garden – thanks to its new summer series of Morning Yoga classes with TruBe.
Morning Yoga: The Lowdown
From 8.30am-9.30am every Saturday and Sunday from 24th July, Sky Garden’s famous Morning Yoga classes are back, so channel your inner Warriors, Cobras and Downward Dogs and get ready to welcome the weekend 36 storeys above the City. Just remember to bring your own mat.
Set amongst Sky Garden’s luscious tropical greenery, take to the mat in the idyllic City Garden Bar for a one-hour dynamic, vinyasa flow class, suitable for all levels and abilities. With a focus on the breath, the TruBe instructor will guide you through a range of flowing postures designed to make you feel energised and rejuvenated, transporting your body and mind to a place of strength.
Refuel after your class and grab a pastry and coffee at Sky Pod Bar or enjoy a leisurely morning and explore the beautifully landscaped gardens, followed by breakfast in Darwin Brasserie, with its panoramic views over London. Choose from a vegan coconut quinoa porridge with Manuka honey; Scottish smoked salmon with scrambled eggs on Nordic rye bread; a build-your-own omelette; or treat yourself to a full or vegan English.
