London’s highest green oasis – Sky Garden – has introduced a brand-new morning wellness programme in the clouds. In collaboration with TruBe Fitness, and running throughout the summer, classes include pilates and meditation as well as Sky Garden’s perennially popular yoga. Classes are available to book on Tuesdays and Thursdays for pre-work stretches as well as at the weekend.
Sky Garden’s Wellness Programme: The Lowdown
Set amongst Sky Garden’s luscious tropical greenery, channel your inner Warrior, Cobra and Downward Dog and kickstart the day on a high, 35 storeys high with panoramic skyline views of The City.
Take to the mat in the idyllic City Garden Bar for a one-hour dynamic class, each suitable for all levels and abilities. Your TruBe instructor will guide you through a range of flowing postures and exercises designed to make you feel energised and rejuvenated, transporting your body and mind to a place of strength, whilst the mediation session will see you feeling zen in no time.
Weekday tickets cost £22pp whilst weekends are priced at £27pp. Level up your experience and upgrade your ticket to enjoy a freshly baked pastry alongside a hot beverage or blended smoothie at Sky Pod Bar for an additional £10.
Come the weekend, linger a little longer and explore the beautifully landscaped gardens, followed by breakfast in Darwin – choices include coconut quinoa porridge with Manuka honey and raspberry compote; smashed avocado toast with chilli, tomato and radish salad, London cure smoked salmon with scrambled eggs on Nordic rye bread; and a build-your-own omelette.
