About Time: You Discovered Lyle & Scott’s New Rave-Inspired Golf Range By Alicia Grimshaw
If there’s one brand that’s sat in our wardrobe since we were teenagers, it’s Lyle & Scott. It would be fair to say this golden eagle has been there through every stage of our fashion journey; from those first nights out to the club, to ‘smart casual events’ in your twenties all the way through to casual high-end staples nowadays as we get older and (a bit) more adult.
One of the UK’s oldest and most trusted fashion brands, it’s been really interesting to see what the Scots have been doing in the space over the last few years; from record-breaking partnerships with women’s football teams to remarkable collabs with Japanese golf brands via a nostalgic nod to our sticker book youth with a Panini range.
Needless to say, when these guys drop something new it gets us excited, which is why we were hyped to see a new rave-inspired golf collection hit the shelves this month. Embracing the brand’s rule-breaking history with colour and flair, we’ve been promised looks that will hit the spot on and off the course, let’s dig in…
What: Fancy looking like you’ve just starred in Channel 4’s new comedy drama The Curse? This jumper packs a glorious retro punch in a gorgeous vintage blue colourway. What a beauty.
What: Real men wear pink, we know that. This gorgeous mid-layer is absolutely ideal for spring into summer looks, hitting a sunny vibe that will get people talking.
What: Introducing your new wardrobe staple. Comfortable, form-flattering and manoeuvrable, this beaut of a 1/4 zip comes in a striking Acid Blue colourway and hits the perfect middle ground between luxe and casual.
What: We all know a 1/4 zip is the must-have item this season, so if you’re investing in one do it right with this premium merino mix. Hitting the spot in that stunning retro blue once again (honestly, we’d happily have our whole wardrobe in this colour), this works seamlessly in an outfit either on its own or layered under a gilet – perfect for those tepid spring evenings.
