Negroni Week is back, and London is shaking, stirring, and sipping like never before. From 22nd – 28th September, the city’s bars are putting the classic Italian aperitif front and centre, with everything from immersive art experiences to bar takeovers and DJs spinning disco beats. Here’s where to drink, taste, and celebrate the bitter-sweet elixir that refuses to go out of style.

1. For a Month-Long Celebration: Nessa

The Lowdown: For Negroni Week and beyond, Nessa Soho is teaming up with Campari to turn its Salon of the Unruly into a month-long Negroni Lounge. Running until 30th October, the space blends British art, music and cocktails with a distinctly Soho edge. Expect three bespoke British riffs on the classic, from a tea-infused Bitter Earl to rhubarb-bright Peak & Flow. A rolling line-up of artists and DJs provides the backdrop, while masterclasses and sip-and-paint sessions add extra colour. A £40 tasting flight with snacks, plus limited-edition postcards by Lena Yokoyama, complete the celebration.

Where: 86 Brewer St, London W1F 9UB

2. For Negroni Lounges: Equal Parts, Bar Brasso + More

The Lowdown: As part of this year’s celebrations, five of London’s best-loved bars are transforming into official Negroni Lounges, serving as hubs for all things bitter-sweet and vermilion. In Hackney, Equal Parts – crowned the UK’s No 1 bar – is at the centre of the action, while Bar Jackie at the Broadwick Hotel brings the festivities to Soho in suitably glossy style. Over in Nine Elms, chef Robin Gill’s brand-new Bar Brasso offers a Milanese spin, while just around the corner in Soho, Nessa is partnering with Campari to extend its Negroni Lounge through to October. And if you’re after something more low-lit and speakeasy, Nightjar Carnaby will be shaking and stirring its own inventive riffs on the classic.

Guests sip bespoke Negroni twists while cutting-edge tech reads their brainwaves, turning emotions into real-time generative digital art projected across the venue.
