1. For Cellar Sessions: Julie’s

What: Holland Park haunt Julie’s invites guests to the cold-climate wine edition of its Cellar Sessions series, Hitting the Slopes, on Tuesday 3rd March from 7pm in the Private Dining Room.

The Event: Launching as a new monthly wine and cheese tasting series, Cellar Sessions offers a relaxed yet refined masterclass experience rather than a full dinner. The first edition, Hitting the Slopes, will spotlight exquisite cold-climate wines, thoughtfully paired with artisan cheeses to highlight their freshness, minerality and depth of character. Guests are invited to discover, sip and savour this carefully curated selection in an intimate setting, marking the beginning of an engaging new chapter in Julie’s evolving events calendar.

2. The Buxton

What: For one night only (10th March) at The Buxton, Elena Pantaleoni, wine producer behind La Stoppa, one of Italy’s most influential figures in winemaking, will be offering a glass-by-glass exploration of La Stoppa’s biodynamic evolution.

The Event: From 5pm – 10pm, Elena will be taking over the bar to pour and talk through a curated flight of six exceptional vintages. A rare chance to dip into these cellar treasures by the glass. Expect Ageno IGT (Malvasia, Ortrugo, Trebbiano), Trebbiolo Rosso (Barbera, Bonarda), Camporomano (Barbera), Macchiona (Barbera, Bonarda) and Vino del Volta da Uve Appassite (Malvasia), alongside a bespoke spread of Emilia-Romagna cheeses and charcuterie designed to echo the estate’s terroir.

3. For a French Education: Wiltons

What: Wiltons will host a one off wine dinner with Domaine des Lambrays on Tuesday 17th March, celebrating one of Burgundy’s most revered producers alongside winemaker Jacques Devauges.

The Event: The evening begins with canapés and Ruinart Blanc de Blancs, followed by a five-course tasting menu by Chef Daniel Kent, each course paired with exceptional wines from the Domaine.

Citrus Cured Monkfish Crudo will be served with Puligny-Montrachet, Premier Cru Les Folatières 2020, followed by Native Lobster Vol au Vent paired with Puligny-Montrachet, Premier Cru Les Caillerets 2021. Risotto of Périgord Truffle will accompany Morey-Saint-Denis 2022 and Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru Clos Sorbé 2022, while Rhug Estate Venison with Sauce Grand Veneur is matched with Clos des Lambrays 2022, Grand Cru. Yarlington Cheese will be served with Clos des Lambrays Grand Cru 2009, before concluding with Chocolate Armagnac Truffle and Canelé with Dulce Caramel alongside Fin de Bourgogne.

4. For a  Meet the Makers Wine Series: Bar Douro

What: Bar Douro is celebrating the return of its successful Meet the Makers Wine Series this spring, celebrated for showcasing Portugal’s most cutting-edge wine projects and unique character. At the City location, guests will try five different types of wines for £35 between 4pm until 5pm and can enjoy some of Bar Douro’s signature small plates.

The Event: On Saturday 21st March, António Picotes from Termo de Sendim will be hosting the event, a civil engineer turned winemaker, has taken over his family’s centenary vineyards and restored his grandfather’s cellar, retaining granite lagares for foot-treading and natural fermentation.

5. For an Italian Wine Dinner: Franco’s

What: Franco’s is celebrating the wines of Piedmont on Tuesday 24th March. The event will showcase a curated selection of vintages from Pio Cesare Winery, one of the region’s most prestigious estates founded in 1881 in Alba.

The Event: Experience a five-course tasting menu crafted by Head Chef Stefano Turconi, paired with exceptional Pio Cesare wines selected to showcase the elegance and ageing potential of Piedmont. The menu will begin with salmon and crème fraîche on a buckwheat crumpet paired with Roederer 245 Collection, followed by veal carpaccio with asparagus, parmigiano and aged balsamic with Langhe Chardonnay 2018.

Castelmagno and black truffle risotto will be served with Barolo Pio and Barbaresco Pio 2013, while pepper-crusted venison loin will be matched with Barolo Ornato Mosconi 2008 and Barbaresco Il Bricco 2014. The evening will conclude with Moscato and passion fruit semifreddo paired with Moscato d’Asti 2022.
