British Pie Week 2026 is as good an excuse as any to seek out London’s finest pastry-encased pleasures. From old-school pub stalwarts to white-tablecloth interpretations filled with lobster or rare-breed mutton, the capital takes its pies seriously. We’ve rounded up ten of the best to try this week. Gravy at the ready:

1. For All-Year-Round Pies: Old Brewers Yard

The Pie: Calum Franklin turns pies into year-round art at Old Brewers Yard. Located within Guinness Open Gate Brewery London, the courtyard serves a line-up of handcrafted pies. Dig into a rich Braised beef and Guinness pie with slow-cooked beef cheek and caramelised onion in a deeply savoury Guinness gravy; a Chicken, tarragon and mushroom pie layered with wild mushrooms and mustard sauce, or a plant-based Spiced squash, Graceburn cheese and Carlin pea pie.

Served as a sharing pie for two with Rake’s creamy mashed potato and housemade brown sauce, it’s the ultimate winter warmer.
