1. Attend a Trendy Singles Party – what are you doing this weekend
Just Friends, Social Concierge
What: London dating company Social Concierge are hosting a singles party called “Just Friends” and the idea is to book with a member of the opposite sex who you don’t want to date. In New York they call them Trash or Treasure parties – in other words, who you don’t want, someone else will. It will be 60 guests at new Brazilian club Cocobanana with free punch for the first hour and ‘crowd mixologists’ to do some chilled intros.

2. Embark on a Food Adventure on Hampstead Heath – what are you doing this weekend
Foodies Festival, Kenwood House
What: This weekend Kenwood House plays host to foodies festival which will bring Great British Bake Off winner John Whaite, Shelina Permalloo and Natalie Coleman all together to celebrate food. Expect a Chocolate, Cake, Bake and Preserves Theatre, BBQ Arena with hourly demonstrations and a Vintage Tea Tent that will hold daily tea dances, alongside a Vintage Kitchen Market. Make a beeline for the Chilli Food Market that will also host a daily Chilli Eating Challenge.
Price: £15 for day ticket, a three-day adult ticket costs £25, and a one day VIP ticket costs £48.

3. Get Inspired into Entrepreneurship – what are you doing this weekend
Makegood Festival, Bond Street
What: This weekend marks the inaugural Makegood Festival – a three-day event dedicated to enterprise with an eclectic programme of TEDx-style talks and discussions from those in the creative industries. Graduates from School for Creative Startups will put their year of teaching and support to test as they showcase their creative startups to peers, consumers and buyers from leading retail brands. From snail farmers to menswear designers, the Makegood marketplace will see 200 of the best, brightest and most eclectic creative brands launching simultaneously. Aspiring entrepreneurs can be inspired and educated simultaneously with a ‘How To’ series including How to Launch a Country Business, How to Fund a Startup, How to Crowd Fund and How to Master PR.

4. Go to a Street Food Extravaganza – what are you doing this weekend
What: It’s in a car park, in Shoreditch: it’s going to mega trendy. Urban Food Fest describes itself as a gourmet street food extravaganza – it brings together London’s best food trucks under one roof, for a real feast. Cronuts, handmade burgers, hot dogs… You just know it’s going to be the most Instagrammable place in town this weekend.

5. Attend a Pizza Party – what are you doing this weekend
The Argentinian Pizza Supper Club, Islington
What: This pop-up takes place every Saturday and is a great, fun way to spend a Saturday night if you’re looking to make some new friend. The supper club features superb cooking by Argentinian chef Oli, including homemade pizza, and live music all night. The £25 ticket price includes a four-course meal, dessert and wine; think homemade antipasto, traditional chickpea flour and onion oregano pizza, and dessert pancakes with Dulce de Leche.
