2. Yoga with a view: Sky Garden

That’s where the amazing folks at Sky Garden come in, and believe us when we say, amazing. Set against a backdrop of luscious tropical greenery, it’s the best place to get a work out, and set yourself up for the rest of the day!

4. Read a book: British Academy

What: If you’re as obsessed with our books section as we are, or you want to have a night of culture, and be introduced to a side of reading you’ve never considered before, why not visit the Samuel Johnson Prize Shortlist Event? It’s truly set to be a special evening as the authors shortlisted for this year’s award discuss their books ranging from travel to sport, and autobiographies to history, followed by a book signing.

Where: If you’re looking to spend your evening surrounded by the best non-fiction talent 2015 has to offer, get yourself down to British Academy, 10-11 Carlton House Terrace, SW1Y 5AH, and get yourself something better to read on the tube in the morning.

5. Have Afternoon Tea: The Athenaeum Hotel & Apartments

What: Want to have Afternoon Tea AND do something good for charity? The Athenaeum Hotel & Apartments have got you covered. The five-star hotel have joined forces with Esther Rantzen’s charity ‘The Silver Line’ to host Silver Tea – to highlight the importance of thinking of those who might be lonely in the run up to Christmas. They’ve won awards for how delicious their Afternoon Tea is -we’ve tried it for ourselves and it’s scrumptious – so you really need to try it for yourself!
