What: Wine. Good wine. Now that we’ve got your attention, the BBC Good Food Show is in town, and with it is the International Wine and Spirit competition. Now that you’ve gone to a few wine tastings, where better to show off your knowledge? You can swirl, sniff and sip exclusive, award winning drinks and learn a bit while you’re doing it.

3. Watch Wicked Theatre at Soho Theatre

What: Want to watch a funny, sweet play with a super-sized difference? Beached is the play for you. Meet 67-stone Arty, the fattest teenager in the world, who gets himself on a reality TV show (of course) to lose the weight. It’s a fantastic show which shows the dark side of hunting your 15 minutes of fame, which is the perfect message for society at the moment. We don’t want to spoil the ending but you’re going to love it.

Where: The amazing Soho Theatre is host to this dark comedy, so get yourself to 21 Dean Street, Soho, W1D 3NE for this time-appropriate masterpiece.

The Boat Show Comedy Club have been making waves for some time, and they’ve sailed onto our shores with an amazing set that’s guaranteed to float your boat. There are loads of comedy greats guaranteed to make you laugh, and not one but FOUR bars on board to sink your teeth into.

Where: Get your sailor hat on and get to Tattersall Castle, at Victoria Embankment, Whitehall, SW1A 2HR.

What: We don’t know about you, but we’re ALWAYS glued to our screens. Phones, laptops, tablets, TV, or all of them at once. Okay, maybe that last one is just us… BUT it’s fair to say we’ve come a LONG way in the last few years. The Science Museum is hosting a fascinating exhibition about Technology through the ages, which shows just how much the times are changing, and technology is changing with us. If even the Queen is tweeting now, it’s definitely worth heading to see why.
