1. Get your Skates On: Broadgate

What: We know you’ve got skate rinks coming out of your ears, with a new one opening every day but the one in Broadgate is our favourite of the lot. The lovely folks at The Tasting Room, including the minds behind Sourced Market, have provided the best winter destination for Londoners to celebrate the festive season, while getting their skates on. With incredible, locally sourced food, craft beer and gourmet doughnuts, Christmas really has come early!

Where: Our favourite season comes together with our favourite foodies for a truly spectacular time. Head over to Broadgate Ice Rink, Exchange Square EC2A 2BQ for some festive fun. Eat, skate and be merry.

When: The ice rink is open 10am-10pm daily. the Tasting Room is open with fresh coffee from 7:30am – 11pm on Monday-Friday,10am-11pm Saturday, and 10am-10pm Sunday. Tickets for the rink start from £8.50, including skate hire. To find out more visit here

2. Try a Vodka Pop-Up: Skylounge

What: Vodka. Now that we’ve got your attention, rooftop bar Skylounge has announced the opening of Valhalla Vodka Bar, a cosy winter retreat on an outdoor terrace. There will be Scandic-Style food, an incredible atmosphere, bespoke winter cocktails (with authentic viking names!) and lots of blankets. Alongside all of that, you’ll have breath-taking views overlooking Tower Bridge, The Shard and the Gherkin, what more do you need?

Where: Get yourself down to the Skylouge’s Valhalla Vodka bar, for some amazing, viking fun! Incredible views, drinks and company at Skylounge, 7 Pepys Street, London EC3N 4AF. Trust us, you’ll love it!

The London Eye: The terrace will open on Tuesday, November 25th, until February, so get your winter warmers on, and celebrate the festive season in style. It’s open WednesdaySunday, 4:30pm until late, so it’s the perfect spot for after-work drinks, lazy weekends or a date with a difference.

3. Get Frosty: The London Eye

What: If you’ve not had enough of the winter events, we’ve got one more for you! The London Eye will be transforming into the perfect winter destination with the return of ‘Frostival’ with views of the entire city. There’s also a magical multi-sensory Frosty Guided Experience, and winter cocktails to make this Christmas the best one yet. We’ll let you in on a little secret, we’ve never been on the London Eye, but this is the PERFECT excuse to take a trip!

4. Watch: Theatre Uncut

What: After what feels like a long wait, Theatre Uncut has finally come to London. Acclaimed writers contribute original short plays which respond to the world as it is right now. If you want to see theatre with a difference – and watch the events outside tumble onto the stage in front of you, this is definitely what you need.

Where: The amazing Soho Theatre, London’s most vibrant setting, is home to Theatre Uncut for a few days. The topic is Knowledge is Power, Knowledge is Change, so head over to 21 Dean Street, W1D 3NE, to be amazed.

When: Theatre Uncut is only in London for five days, so you really can’t afford to miss out! There are showings daily at 7pm from Tuesday, November 15th until the last one at 5:30pm on Sunday, November 30th. Tickets start from £10 and are available from http://www.theatreuncut.com/

5. Try: The 5CC Showrooms

What: If there’s one thing Shoreditch does well, it’s house interesting places to drink. With that in mind, and in a city full of the newest craft beer/ale/coffee/water, 5cc Electricity Showrooms is a sanctuary for cocktail drinkers! Take it from us, these guys have some of the best cocktails London has to offer, and they’re perfect for sharing with friends, or just keeping all to yourself. And, if you want our advice, sip the Barrel’y Legal – rock candy and rum. Need we say more?

Where: Shoreditch, obviously. East London’s answer to cocktails is located below Electricity Showrooms, 39a Hoxton Square N1 6NN. We’ll see you there.
