Beat Retreat is London’s new summer garden party, marrying the worlds of music and wellness in a first of its kind experience in the UK. Taking place on 7th August at the stunning Kenwood House on Hampstead Heath, this highly curated boutique event promises to take you on a spiritually rich journey from sunrise to sunset.

Not quite ready for a summer of wild raves that leave you feeling physically ruined and emotionally drained? This new way to party really has your back, so why not get loose…

Beat Retreat: The Lowdown

As its name suggests, Beat Retreat brings the destination right to our doorstep, offering a blissful mix of ‘the best of Balearic’ DJs alongside iconic names in chill out electronic music. Tom Findlay (one half of Groove Armada) dives into his disco/soul solo project ‘Loose Joints’, alongside DJ sets from downtempo masters Zero 7 and legendary left-field ambient DJ and label owner Rob da Bank.

With the soundtrack set, simply indulge in a whole range of energising activities, like yoga with Vikings actor and EnergyRise founder Maude Hirst, breathing with ‘the breath guy’ Richie Bostock, meditation with sound designer and sleep coach Tom Middleton, and all topped off with a full-blown Sleep Retreat with Rob da Bank (again).

More details expected to come on the food and beverages front, but with the promise of bold flavours, ethical and sustainable produce, and a ‘let’s keep it local’ approach, Beat Retreat feels like a fully holistic operation.

So if you’re fond of sand dunes and salty air, but don’t fancy risking your money on an international surf and yoga package, and doubt you’ll make it to Amnesia or Pacha this summer, look no further than London’s Hampstead Heath for an equally healthy and hedonistic Beat Retreat…

Limited Early Bird tickets (£70) for Beat Retreat are available here.
