Following the government’s roadmap announcement that outdoor cinemas can re-open from 17th May, Adventure Cinema has announced a new bumper schedule of events for 2021, offering you the chance to enjoy the magic of the movies alfresco.

Stopping at some of the UK’s most scenic spaces (think castles, heritage parks and stately homes), the tour invites everyone to pack their favourite picnics, pick their cosiest blankets, and watch great films under the sun and the stars, all in a socially distanced and safe environment.

For those looking for a truly magical and immersive experience, tour highlights include screenings of Harry Potter in the grounds of a medieval castle and a showing of Monty Python and the Holy Grail outside a Norman-era keep. The tour will also visit castles in Yorkshire, Wrexham and Powys, National Trust sites in Dorset, Devon, London, Staffordshire and Hampshire, and country estates in Somerset, Crewe, Cheshire, Surrey and Norwich, as well as many, many more venues across the breadth of the UK. With over 80 locations spanning the country, your next adventure is showing at an outdoor cinema near you.

With all manner of movies being screened – from cult films like The Rocky Horror Picture Show and 80s classics like Dirty Dancing, to family favourites like Grease and The Greatest Showman, and some of the best modern blockbusters – this is much better than sitting in your local Odeon.

Tickets for Adventure Cinema start from £14.50 + booking fee and are available here
