They’ve curated a star-studded lineup featuring Amapiano legends, including the Godfather of Amapiano: DJ Maphorisa. Joining this dynamic roster are the renowned Major League DJz, DBN Gogo, Musa Keys, Vigro Deep, and many more.
The one-day extravaganza, known as the Piano People Winter Show, promises to unite groove enthusiasts on the vast dance floor of the Drumsheds venue (which can host up to 15,000 people). With three distinct rooms, each offering a unique vibe, the event will showcase the collective sounds of Amapiano, Gqom, and South African House music, creating an unforgettable fusion of musical energy.
In the Piano People room, you’ll find the very best in the Amapiano scene, with Major League DJz leading the charge. DJ Maphorisa will grace the stage, taking you on a journey through Amapiano’s biggest hits, followed by the electrifying sounds of superstars DBN Gogo and the prodigious Vigro Deep.
The European Groove room will showcase some of Europe’s most influential tastemakers in the genre, including the TikTok sensation DJ Phapane.
Lastly, the Lit Lagos room will be an exhilarating celebration of all things Afrobeats, featuring Alte legends ODUMODUBLVCK and BOJ. The room will then be taken over by incredible acts like Dankie Sounds, Native Soundsystem, and UK legends DJ Kwamz, DJ OV, and Mixrmoe.
