Following a five-month hiatus, South London’s leading cultural space, Pop Brixton, is back open and ready to reveal its lockdown glow up. As well as undergoing a seasonal revamp complete with tropical plants, colourful murals by local artists and a new jam-packed events schedule.

On Friday (2nd July), Pop Brixton, will be hosting a free DJ night with resident radio station Reprezent. From 19:30 – 23:30, expect to hear a healthy dose of RnB, Hip-Hop, Rap, Afro and bass from three of the station’s most exciting DJs:  First a cross-genre set from Sandra Omari, then a one-off B2B from Star.One and Oh Annie Oh.
During the sets, tuck into amazing street food from Pop Brixton’s resident traders. Bringing a taste of Ireland to South London, Whisht is on-site with their lip-smacking sandwiches inspired by the Emerald Isle, whilst authentic Lebanese cafe Dough Thyme will be serving up tasty manoushe with a twist.
Also on offer: Delicious Sri Lankan street food courtesy of Singhé Kitchen, and brand new restaurant Only Food And Courses, think fine-dining with a ‘greasy spoon’ twist – expect crab scotch eggs and confit duck eclairs. There’ll also be more amazing food on offer from Pop Brixton favourites including – Halo Burger, Baba G’s, Mama’s Jerk, Caribe, Share A Slice and more.
Pop Brixton’s drinks offering is no less extensive. As well as the impressive selection of cocktails, beers and ciders on offer at the Pop Bar, indulge in the very best new wines from South Africa, New Zealand, and Australia courtesy of Speciality Cellars, and a global range of hard-to-find brews from Beers Of The World.
