Daddy Rack, an award-winning original Tennessee Straight Small Batch Whiskey, has partnered with leading London cocktail bar, Homeboy, to celebrate Independence Day with live music and Daddy Rack cocktails.

Kicking off at 1pm, the bar will be serving a special menu of three delicious Daddy Rack cocktails, with a tasting for all to enjoy at 7pm and live music starting from 8pm. Situated a stone’s throw away from the new American Embassy, Homeboy is the ultimate destination for 4th of July frivolities.

Daddy Rack x Homeboy: Eat and Drink

Daddy Rack’s signature Rackhouse Lemonade will be served alongside a special Daddy Rack menu created by Homeboy owners Aaron Wall and Ciaran Smith. Made up of three delicious drinks inspired by the American South, the menu will feature the State Dessert, a creamy concoction inspired by the favourite Tennessee treat of banana pudding, and the Tennessee Whiskey Song, a fresh and dry cocktail of strawberry wine and poitin with a subtle sweetness. The final cocktail is the Nashville is in Tennessee, a riff on the punchy yet fresh cocktail “Paper Plane” created by the owner of famed Nashville hotspot, Attaboy.

Alongside the cocktails, you can also book a space for a live tasting of Daddy Rack with founder J. Arthur Rackham and Brand Ambassador Dave Marsland which takes place at 7pm, with live music kicking off from 8pm.

Daddy Rack x Homeboy: The Lowdown

Following the roaring success of its first bar in Islington, Homeboy opened the brand new Embassy Gardens this spring. Home of modern Irish hospitality, the larger location is the perfect place to mark this American National Holiday.

Smooth and sumptuous, Daddy Rack will delight first-time whiskey drinkers and connoisseurs alike. With rich fruity notes and a buttery mouthfeel, this delightful dram can be enjoyed on its own, or in a variety of cocktails perfect for summertime sipping. Daddy Rack is made from locally farmed corn, delivering a true taste of Tennessee to UK drinkers.

Reservations are required for the tasting at 7pm, and whilst recommended, are not necessary for the rest of the festivities. They can be made via the Homeboy website.
