1. Saturday – Brixton Diner with The Pickled Fork

What: Expect the best of British with an American infusion with this latest East London supper club. Two creative young chefs, Chris Griffett and Alex Motture, are behind The Brixton Diner – a pop-up on Coldharbour Lane which will be serving American-inspired food in true Brixton style. The food is sourced from local markets, and you can expect an amazing 3-course meal for only £20. Think buffalo wings with British condiments like Shropshire Blue and South Devon chilli sauce, the Brixton Bap with wild garlic slaw, and a peanut butter dessert with a Hobnob base.

2. Sunday – Holi Party with Dishoom

What: London’s favourite Dishoom is bringing the joyful, fun-filled Indian celebration of Holi back to London with their second annual Holi party on Sunday 23rd March, at Hawker House in East London. And it’s set to be even bigger, brighter and barmier than last year’s inaugural event. Expect an afternoon of storytelling, traditional colour-play, music, delicious snacks and drinks – including warm, spicy Chai and colourful rangoli for kids to enjoy. Dishoom are also running a special Holi Feast (£29 per person) at both the Covent Garden and Shoreditch branch until Sunday, with delicious treats such as the naughty make-your-own lassi with rum and a variety of flavourings.
