Top 5: Cocktails You Need to Drink This WeekBy Rosie Crossman
This week stand strong, bare your legs, but go easy on the fake tan – stripes only look good on zebras. Give your skin a break after the enivitable first sun of the season burn and take a leave out of Galileo’s book ‘Wine is sunlight, held together by water.’ Here are our cocktails of the week:
The Cocktail: Crown Stag – Dalmore 12yo whisky gently stirred with Campari, Cynar and Mandarin Napoleon (£15.50)
The Story: Polo Bar is the type of establishment where you can put the world to rights with an old friend, or celebrate a much deserved promotion. The Summer Collection is the creation of masterful Head Mixologist Carmine Catena – a wise chap who has concocted a winning array of bitter Martinis, signature cocktails and timeless classics. Nibble a salt beef sandwich, with the bitter kick of the Crown Stag – perfection.
