1. For a Power Breakfast: Gunpowder
What: Gunpowder is set to introduce breakfast to its Tower Bridge outpost from 14th, Monday – Saturday. Inspired by the shores of Goa, the menu incorporates Indian dishes – perfect for both weekdays and weekends brunchin’.
Eat and Drink: Choose from a wide selection of omelettes that encapsulate the flavours of the coast, like the Anjuna Market Style Crab Omelette with fresh white crab meat, paired with grilled tomatoes; while the Ros Omelette, Gunpowder’s speciality, will transport guests to the entrance of the Vasco da Gama station, served in an aromatic coconut-based curry sauce. The Gunpowder Breakfast will allow guests to indulge on a more substantial breakfast, perfect for a weekend rendezvous, with their choice of eggs, butter mushrooms, grilled cherry tomatoes, fire toasted sourdough and Gunpowder’s very own masala beans. Gunpowder’s refreshing take on the classic avocado toast will feature fresh orange with chopped green chillis.

2. For a Northern African Breakfast: The Barbary Next Door
What: A date for your diary: 14th March. The day The Barbary Next Door will open its doors for the launch of breakfast and brunch, taking its cues from Moorish Spain and North African cooking.
Eat and Drink: To start the day, the menu begins with an assortment of daily pastries baked in-house: Sfenj, Ras-el-hanout pumpkin bread served with a pumpkin and sunflower seed clotted cream, Milk bastille and vanilla anglaise, and homemade date molasses granola, organic yoghurt with blueberries, tahini and honey. While on the savoury side, there will be maaqooda, a Moroccan tortilla and aioli spiked with pickled peppers known as shifkeh. From midday, a selection of Middle Eastern savoury bakes, such as swiss chard and chickpea fatayer and cheese burek with egg and zhoug, alongside an array of dips and salads.

3. For a Bottomless Brunch: Snackbar
What: Every Sunday from 13th March, Snackbar will be knocking out a brand new bottomless brunch menu.
Eat and Drink: Tuck into founder Freddie’s take on the US breakfast staple Biscuits and Gravy – a flaky buttermilk biscuit with a rich and creamy sausage gravy and a Burford Brown poached egg with chives and black pepper, or Chilaquiles, a Mexican-inspired breakfast dish made with crispy tortilla chips cooked down in salsa verde, topped with a fried egg, refried black beans and cheese. Both brunch dishes will be served with Freddie’s signature house-made dill pickle hash browns on the side and then Gooey Butter Cake, an unmissable, oozing hybrid of treacle tart-meets-cheesecake with a meringue-like crispy top, served by the slice.

4. For a Mexican Japanese flavours: Los Mochis
The Lowdown: Los Mochis, where Tokyo meets Tulum, have launched their new week-long breakfast and weekend brunch offerings on the 3rd June at both Notting Hill and City restaurants. Continuing to champion an entirely gluten, nut and celery free menu, diners can start their morning without compromise.
Eat and Drink: Spotlighting Mexican flavours and Japanese techniques, early risers are able to choose between Light & Healthy or Sweet & Naughty breakfast options available from 8am. The Menu will feature Pancakes with grilled peaches and blueberry compote, Huevos Can Carne Asada, alongside a range of small plates and Los Mochis’ signature dishes. For the ultimate morning indulgence, there’s Churro Waffles with cinnamon sugar, Resaca Quesadilla or the Masa Chicken and Waffles drizzled with organic maple syrup. Brunch cocktails will also be available from 11am including playful takes on classics; the Bloody Mezcalito and Tequila Greyhound.

5. For a Spanish Brunch: BIBO
What: Brunch has arrived at Dani García’s BIBO Shoreditch, bringing with it brand new dishes, sensational desserts, and the newly launched mega XXL Tortilla for sharing with up to ten people; perfect for weekend grazing (and best followed by an afternoon siesta).
Eat and Drink: Available exclusively on Saturdays and Sundays from 11am-4pm, standout dishes include the new crispy fried chicken brioche with ras el hanout mayo and tomato, and the playful fish and chips burger with tartar sauce, pickles and coleslaw. The brunch offering also includes the golden Paella with fried eggs and cecina and indulgent BIBO takes on the classics – think Eggs Royale with smoked salmon and bearnaise sauce, and the Eggs Benedict with jamón ibérico and bearnaise sauce.
