We’re really getting into the festive spirit at About Time. What: Fig and Fennel Bloomer
Why: The sourdough loaves are big and beautiful, handmade with generous additions of plump whole figs and fennel seeds. Ideal for gifting or sharing, the breads are a welcome centrepiece for the Christmas table, perfect to enjoy with friends alongside cheese and pâtés. Why: This Saturday, bespoke bakers Primrose Bakery are selling a special cupcake in aid of Wallace & Gromit’s Children’s Charity’s BIG Bake. They will donate £1 from the sale of every Tea and Digestive cupcake sold between 5 and 13 December to the charity in support of its annual baking fundraiser.The tea-riffic flavour features tea-and-biscuit flavour sponge, a tea buttercream and a digestive crumble topping. It’s not exactly festive, but giving is in the festive spirit, hey?
