Pizza Pilgrims are doubling down on their London takeover, this time planting their flag firmly in the heart of the East End. To mark the launch of its new pizzeria on Brick Lane, the Neapolitan-inspired outfit is joining forces with local institution Beigel Bake for a one-off culinary collaboration: a Salt Beef Pizza available throughout July, and only at the Brick Lane site.

It’s a mash-up made in late-night food heaven. The pizza layers Beigel Bake’s famously punchy salt beef with sharp English mustard and crunchy pickles, all balanced with fresh mozzarella flown in from Naples. It’s served on Pizza Pilgrims’ signature slow-proved dough – the chewy, blistered base that’s made them one of the UK’s most recognisable names in pizza.

Now with more than 20 locations across the country, Pizza Pilgrims have come a long way from their street food van beginnings. The Brick Lane outpost opened quietly in May inside the Old Truman Brewery, decked out in cobbled flooring, lemon grove booths and graffiti-scrawled walls. A typical Pizza Pilgrims affair.

The Salt Beef Pizza (£15) is available for dine-in, takeaway, and Deliveroo from 1st – 31st July, but with limited daily quantities of Beigel Bake’s salt beef delivered fresh each morning, once it’s gone, it’s gone.
