For Chocolate Greatness: Profiteroles
The Lowdown: The Proof’s signature, much-loved dish is the profiterole, which they have beautifully sculpted into a heart-shaped wreath for Valentine’s, filled with crème Chantilly and topped with silky dark chocolate and decadent gold leaf.
Price: The Profiterole Heart generously serves two to four for £17.50, or available for up to six for £30.
For the Ultimate Love-In: The Passion Proof Hamper
The Lowdown: The Passion Proof Hamper is an ideal gift for someone who really needs spoiling this Valentine’s. Containing the Profiterole Heart, Chapel Down fizz, a hand-tied bouquet of flowers from East London florists Gloria and a ‘Flore’ candle by Evermore, The Proof has beautifully put together an all-in hamper of specially chosen gifts so you don’t have to.
Price: The hamper is £110 and available for delivery within the M25.
For a Showstopping Surprise: L’amour Cake
The Lowdown: And for pure romantics, there can’t be many better ways to show affection than with cake, and The Proof’s L’amour cake is designed to please. A three-layer, heart-shaped cake in either chocolate or vanilla flavour, topped with red and white Swiss meringue buttercream, with decorative piping and raspberries – this is not a cake for the faint-hearted. They offer personalised messaging on request too.
Price: The L’amour cake is £50 and serves six to ten.
