Chotto Matte: The Menu

The Central London restaurant has introduced an exciting new concept: Steak and Sushi Sundays. The new offering features – you guessed it – the Chotto Matte’s signature sushi and wagyu steak for a set price of £50.

Executive Head Chef Jordan Sclare has designed the menu, which showcases the contrast of land and sea, with an innovative twist that combines Peruvian ingredients with traditional Japanese techniques. The olive-fed wagyu Alcatra, specially sourced from Yorkshire UK, is served with red anticucho butter, green bean tempura, and Chotto Matte’s famous smoked purple potato mash. The sushi selection features signature dishes such as salmon nigiri shiso; seabass nigiri with mustard miso picante salsa; chu toro nigiri with kizami wasabi salsa; yellowtail nigiri with jalapeno truffle dressing; spicy tuna crispy rice; yellowtail crispy rice; prawn cut roll; and spicy tuna roll.

Chotto Matte’s founder Kurt Zdesar has created a dining experience that reflects the vibrant energy of the restaurant, celebrating the marriage of Japanese and Peruvian cuisine. The restaurant aspires to reimagine the end-of-the-week indulgence, offering something new to the city’s dining scene.

The menu is available in both the Soho and Marylebone restaurant. The Steak and Sushi menu is priced at £50 per person, and the full a la carte menu is also available. Reservations can be made through the website.
