Pret A Manger has announced the launch of a limited-edition lobster roll across 123 shops in the UK. The new roll, made with sustainably sourced Maine Lobster, will be available for a limited time, from 12th June. Here’s what you need to know:

The rolls will be made with high-quality Maine Lobster, dressed with lemon chilli mayo, crispy cos lettuce and cucumber, all finished with a sprinkling of spring onion. For the best flavour profile possible, Pret has selected its signature white baguette, which is baked freshly in shops throughout the day.

The launch comes after the roll became a summer favourite in Pret’s US shops last year and is part of Pret’s summer menu, which launches in shops next week, featuring several delicious new options.
Pret’s Head of Food Development, Hannah Dolan, said: “Like the rest of the nation, we’re hoping that temperatures will heat up for summer very soon. We wanted to add something to our menu that means even if our customers can’t get outside and enjoy the sunshine, they can still enjoy a taste of summer at their desks! Our Lobster Roll, which is already a hit in the US, seemed like a great fit. We’ve spent hours developing the recipe, and tasting the product, to ensure we can deliver a delicious Maine Lobster Roll to customers here in the UK.”
Pret A Manger: Where to Find It
Available in 123 shops across the UK including major cities such as London, Manchester and Edinburgh, the Lobster Roll is priced from £5.99. The new roll will only be available for a limited time to celebrate the start of summer.
