About Time: You Celebrated International Poke Day at Poke the BearBy Angelica Malin
New opening Poké the Bear is giving you the chance to celebrate International Poké Day (28th Sept) by offering half price poké bowls all day.
Poké (pronounced poke-ay) is a traditional, healthy Hawaiian dish which Poké the Bear has adapted, using influences from across the world to ensure every flavour packs a punch, adding vegan options and a variety of nutritious recipes and side dishes to the menu too.
The kitchen, started by TV’s Calum Best and hospitality mogul Fraser Carruthers, is offering Deliveroo and Uber Eats users alike to join them in doing the ‘Hokey-Poké’ on Monday with 50% off its signature dishes.
Signature bowl Ahi Tuna Bowl is half price all day Monday, whilst vegan diners can also join the celebrations with “The Vegan Bowl” also available at 50% off.
International Poké Day half price dishes:
Ahi Tuna Bowl: Tuna, Wakame Salad, Pickled Sesame Cucumber, Fresh Mango with Sesame Seeds, topped with Crispy Shallots.
The Vegan Bowl: Satay Style Jackfruit, Edamame, Pickled Sesame Cucumber, Avocado, Pickled Ginger and Spring Onions.
