5 New Brunch Menus You Need to Try in London This WeekendBy Alicia Grimshaw
If you find yourself heading to the same place for brunch – it’s time to shake up your weekend routine. There’s a menu to suit every bruncher: meat-free queens, hedonist hunnies and day time drinkers. Here’s where you get your brunch on in London this weekend:
1. For Build-Your-Own Pancakes: Blanchette Brick Lane
What: Blanchette Brick Lane has extended its popular menu (think signature French cuisine with a North African twist) to include a weekend brunch, served Saturday to Sunday from 11am to 2pm. Chef Director Tam Storrar’s brunch menu ranges from egg dishes, to buttermilk pancakes with various toppings, boulangerie delicacies and favourite French classics.
Eat and Drink: In true brunch style, a build-your-own eggs menu offers two Cacklebean free-range eggs (poached, scrambled or fried) on toasted sourdough or brioche bun, served with a choice of multiple toppings including smashed pumpkin, feta and harrisa alongside the classic avocado, back bacon or smoked salmon. For a sugar high, the build-your-own pancakes menu consists of light and fluffy buttermilk pancakes with a choice of toppings like berry compote, and hazelnut and chocolate ganache.

2. For a Classic Brunch Menu: Neptune
What: Neptune has launched their first-ever weekend brunch menu, available every Saturday and Sunday from 12pm to 3pm. Neptune’s menu goes beyond the standard fare and offers innovative twists on classic dishes alongside entirely new creations.
Eat and Drink: Highlights from the menu include: Mortadella and sausage sandwich with provolone, fried egg and green chilli pesto; smoked haddock kedgeree with coriander, fried leeks and poached egg; and the butcher’s breakfast. Veggie? Opt for the Mediterranean-inspired spread with falafels, tahini yogurt, avocado, halloumi, harissa, coriander and flatbread or the slap-up vegetarian breakfast.

3. For a Sharing Brunch: Hoppers
What: Fresh off the plane from a research trip to Sri Lanka, the Hoppers team have crafted a new brunch menu of kothus, karis and dosas for an indulgent Sunday family-style feast.
Eat and Drink: Begin your Hoppers brunch with a selection of fiery short eats including devilled chicken sausage and punchy green peppercorn squid, followed by a twist on the traditional kothu roti with bacon and mushroom or beans and cheese. For the main event, karis include tender overnight mutton and omelette kari, served alongside the classic egg hoppers or decadent chilli cheese dosas. To wash it all down, sip on the Sunday special Smoked Gorakha Bloody Mary, one of Hoppers’ famous Arrack punches, or Genever-spiked cocktails.

4. For a Peruvian Party: COYA Mayfair
What: COYA Mayfair has brought back its lively Saturday brunch with a bang. Just launched, and available every Saturday, the brunch comes in two packages: the Spirit Package which is £75 a head and the Champagne Package for £85.
Eat and Drink: Bottomless drinks (Pisco Sour, Mojito, London Mule, Tommy’s Margarita or a hearty Bloody Mary) and delightful Peruvian canapes kick off the brunch. For food, it’s a free-flowing buffet-style affair with an array of ceviches, tiraditos and salads available, along with skewers and pillowy bao buns. Order mains from the likes of COYA’s classic Arroz Nikkei (sea bass cazuela with rice, lime and chilli), spiced Pollo a la Parilla (corn fed baby chicken, aji panca and coriander) and Lomo de Res (spicy beef, crispy shallots, aji rocoto, star anise). And for desserts, Peruvian inspired puds and ice cream.
