Things you could add to your 2021 Christmas present listBy Angelica Malin
The last two years have been trying for everybody, and with last Christmas being a complete write-off for so many people, there is a real focus in making this coming festive season something special and catching up on what might have been missed.
If you are one of those people, you will no doubt be looking for some exceptional presents to put on your Christmas list or asking your friends and family to contribute to a special item or experience. With that in mind, here are some ideas that you might not have thought of to make this coming holiday season one you’ll never forget.
#1 A full-on pamper day
It doesn’t matter who you are, there is very little that is more relaxing than a pamper day. Whether it involves a massage or some professional finishing touches to your appearance, the end result can be a de-stressed and rejuvenated you. You can either choose a local establishment or spend a day (or even book an overnight stay) at one of the many country house hotels that offer this kind of package.
Finding the right offer yourself and dropping heavy hints for your preferred location might be a better solution than leaving it in the hands of somebody else, so you know you are getting exactly what you want.
#2 Finally get that tattoo
It’s an item that is on nearly everybody’s bucket list, but you might not have gotten around to it or changed your mind at the last minute because you didn’t know what to have. If you still haven’t decided by Christmas, you can keep the money to one side and instead concentrate your efforts in finding the right place to get it done.
You’ll obviously want to go somewhere local, but when sizing up recommendations you are likely to find that the more highly rated establishments get their supplies and equipment from Barber DTS, a well-known and reputable supplier.
#3 Go scuba diving
It might seem like after the last two years, the last thing you want to do is something else that involves wearing a mask, but scuba diving is a whole new experience to look forward to. Clearly it’s still a bit nippy in British waters early in the New Year, so your first scuba diving experienced will have to be abroad or postponed until next summer.
Picking a destination right now could be difficult, so it might be best to earmark some places on a wish list (some here, and some overseas) and make a decision and perhaps snap up a good deal much nearer the time.
To wrap things up
Deciding what you want for Christmas can usually involve a certain amount of shrugging or asking for the same things you always get and probably won’t use. Instead, this year you could ask for something special that will make a real difference and make sure that what could have been a disappointing year ends on a high note.
