Once the summer clubbing season is over, you don’t want to end up revisiting the same club in your town centre. There’s so much more of the world to see, so start planning a trip to a party destination this Autumn to top up the tan and try the local beer.

Here are the five destinations you and the lads need to consider, once the leaves start to turn:

1. Playa del Inglés, Gran Canaria

Flight time from London: 4h 30m

A hotspot in the summer, this island stays warm throughout October with balmy temperatures of 26°C. The sea is also at its warmest too, ideal if you want to try out watersports on your getaway.

You’ll definitely need the boardshorts and flip flops – we actually recommend grabbing sliders for your 2017 getaway, Superdry have some good-looking styles in stock.

Stay in Playa del Inglés where you’ll find plenty of beaches to chill on throughout the day and buzzing strips for impromptu nights out. Pacha nightclub is the place to be once 9pm rolls around, so fill up at the all inclusive and plan a visit or two throughout your stay.

2. Malta

Autumn temperature: 25°C

Flight time from London: 3h 10m

With 300 days of sunshine, this is definitely the spot for topping up your tan this Autumn and there are plenty of bars and cafes to check out during your stay when the evening rolls round.

Take your snorkel gear and some decent swimshorts, as the sea stays a comfortable 24°C during October so you’ll be spending a lot of time in there. Plan a trip to Saddles during your stay, with sports coverage and table football you and your mates won’t want to leave.

3. Las Vegas, USA

This desert city is not only the perfect place to spend your days sunning by a pool but it also features huge casinos to try your luck in, all you can eat buffets and plenty of clubs and hotel bars to party at.

It’s a pricier autumn destination but trust us, it’s worth it. You need to pack day to night outfits for when you start on the cocktails at 3pm – we’re thinking rolled up shirts, chino shorts and leather trainers – bear in mind that some hotels and casinos will expect you to dress up so plan where you’re visiting beforehand.

4. Ayia Napa, Cyprus

Flight time from London: 4h 35m

When you think Cyprus, the first destination to come to mind is party central Ayia Napa. The club culture is huge in this destination, making it the perfect spot for topping up the tan by day and lining up the shots by night.

Castle Club is one of the hottest nightclubs in the area – opened in 1994, there are 14 bars and nine DJs to check out on your visit. Expect tourist spots to be quieter but that just means you can get to the front of the bar quicker.

Grab the sun cream, fill the case with enough basic t-shirts and shorts to last for your stay and come back with a tan and plenty of memories.

5. Lanzarote

Flight time from London: 4h 15m

A popular holiday destination during the summer holidays, plan your October trip to avoid the school kids on half term and make the most of the free sun loungers and warm temperatures to top up that tan from your previous break.

Puerto del Carmen is the best spot for nightlife, with lively bars such as The Island Bar with live music and Marcos & Aless bar where you can find a table for the night to eat and drink until the early hours.
