The 13.1-mile course begins near Downing Street, weaving through historic Westminster, past Big Ben, and along the Thames Embankment towards the City of London. Runners experience ‘the grand, the quirky and the hidden’ highlights that make the capital so unique — from the Gherkin and Tower of London, to a Roman Reception at Guildhall Yard, a show-stopping West End choir at the It’s Showtime zone, and a triumphant finish beneath Nelson’s Column in Trafalgar Square.

Participants are cheered home by the beloved Chelsea Pensioners and the vibrant Pearly Kings and Queens of London, ensuring an unforgettable finish line welcome.

Lia Fyles, Race Director, says:

“Year after year I never imagine the LLHM can get better, but it always does. 2025 was our biggest event yet and my heart filled with joy seeing thousands run for personal reasons, raising a phenomenal £16 million for worthy causes. Running brings people together and uplifts communities. I’m proud LLHM has become a beacon of what makes running so special.”

Running legend Dame Kelly Holmes, who started and ran the 2025 race, added:

“The atmosphere around the course is incredible — the music, the energy, the crowds, the charities — everything about it is brilliant!

The London Landmarks Half Marathon is a 100% not-for-profit event organised by Tommy’s, the UK’s largest pregnancy and baby charity, which funds vital research into miscarriage, premature birth and stillbirth.
