Friday 25th November
For a Charity Fundraiser: The Last Days of Shoreditch
What: Last Days Of Shoreditch continues to up the party ante as Citizenn, Geddes, Rabota and more are added to DJ line ups for events taking place through to 17th December. Don’t worry about feeling the chill, the entire venue is now fully heated and covered for the very first time.
Why: This Friday, Last Days Of Shoreditch are hosting a CALM fundraiser event – with guest DJs including Eddie Abbott, Jack Demeester, Mr Shiver and Chris Maran. Tuck into street food favourites including Rainbo, Wingmans, Mama’s Jerk, Cheese Truck, and Pull and Punch, who will be on hand to fuel everyone until the music stops (at 11:30pm). Partying for a good cause? We’re down.

For Burgers and Beats: Patty & Bun
What: Just like there are two sides to every patty, there are two sides to Patty & Bun’s recently re-launched Redchurch Street site. On one side, upstairs is all about one thing: burgers. But on the other side, the cosy downstairs drinking den is ready for business with its fabulous cocktails and brand new weekend DJ sets.
Why: The first of these banging DJ sets will kick off this Saturday with DJ Nadia, a rising star on the Hiphop /RnB/Bashment scene. With DJ’s on the decks from 8:30PM until close every Saturday, Patty & Bun’s speakeasy bar is not just for chowing down on their cheese and bacon burgers (which are really good fyi). Order a few espresso martinis and get the party poppin’.

For Shopping and Street Food: Pop Brixton
What: With the temperature dropping and the nights drawing in, Pop Brixton has been busy winter-proofing its site, with the shipping container village now primed and ready for the run-up to Christmas. The Pop Box event space has been transformed into a colourful winter lounge, with new lighting and built-in heating, and there’s plenty of gas heaters to keep you toasty.
Why: Pop’s retail outlets will be open as usual for some pre-emptive Christmas shopping, with regular Christmas markets kicking off this weekend and running through until the big day. Meanwhile, Pop’s brilliant roster of food and drink vendors will be welcoming the winter months with a host of brand new seasonal specials. Highlights include: Mama’s Jerk all new chicken, sweetcorn and dumpling doup, Made Of Dough’s n’duja and guindilla pepper pizza with a scotch bonnet romesco dip, and Ghanaian kedgeree with tilapia from Zoe’s Ghana Kitchen.

For Festive Fun: Novikov’s Mayfair Christmas Market
What: Last year’s inaugural Mayfair Christmas Market was such a hit that it’s making a comeback this weekend. Novikov Restaurant & Bar promises the market will be bigger, better and more sparklier than ever. On Saturday, the whole of Mayfair Place will be closed off to traffic from 10am until 9pm, allowing everyone free rein to peruse the luxurious wares of some of London’s finest retailers.

For Brunch and Bubbles: Farmopolis
What: Farmopolis’ new Floating Table Supper Club is a new series of communal feasts set in the unique floating garden on the jetty at Greenwich Peninsula. Over the course of the two months, Farmopolis have teamed with numerous chefs to create a stunning sharing feast served on long communal tables. The indoor restaurant is surrounded by thousands of plants and trees rehomed from the RHS Chelsea Flower Show earlier this year.
Why: On Sunday, Niomi Smart will be heading up the kitchen to cook up a banquet style feast full of brunch recipes from her debut cookbook and bestseller: Eat Smart. Niomi’s passion for healthy food and her popular YouTube video series, What I Eat in a Day, inspired a global audience of millions to look, live and feel better.
