This October, The Hoxton, Southwark’s chef series is back which invites some of the freshest London-based chefs to take to the pass for an exclusive one-night pop-up with fresh beers to match from the guys at Camden Town Brewery. The pop-ups will feature exclusive menus from some of the most creative chefs in London including Ana Da Costa, Ben Lippett, and Sophie Wyburd.

Kicking off the series on Tuesday 4th October will be Ana Da Costa, founder of the hyped Two Hot Asians hot sauce brand which has also taken part in numerous pop-ups with some of the hottest restaurants in London including Supa Ya Ramen and Ling Ling’s.

Ana’s one-night pop-up will feature a menu which celebrates her heritage, originally from Macau in southeast China where she lived until she was 19 years old. Stars of the show will include: Croquete de Minchi, (Fried potato croquette stuffed with minced meat); Salada de Taufu com chatchini de Bacalhau (Cold tofu salad with salted cod ‘chutney),; Porco Balichão Tamarindo (tamarind and shrimp paste braised pork shoulder with coconut rice) and for dessert, Serradura (Macanese trifle).

Looking to later on in the year, cook, food writer, and co-founder of Dr Sting’s Hot Honey, Ben Lippett, will be knocking out seasonal, flavour driven and ingredient-led dishes. On December’s 7th, Mob’s very own food lead and matriarch of Mob’s crew, Sophie Wyburd, will bring her culinary expertise and comfort food know-how to The Hoxton, Southwark.
