There’s a hint of spring in the air – celebrate with a selection of sounds that our Musical Gurus think it’s About Time You Heard:

Calvin Harris – Summer

Although we’ve grown used to his singles coming with a high profile collaborator in tow, Calvin Harris goes it alone on this new one, which sees him return to vocal duties for the first time since Feel So Close. Collaborators or not the man proves once again that he is an unstoppable force in pop, and he times the release of Summer perfectly to coincide with this springtime mini-heatwave. TL

Elliphant – Revolusion

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kSgtet-Nx7w

If you enjoyed the exceptional Down On Life by this feisty swede, Revolusion is another dancefloor-infused pop track worth visiting. The Santigold comparisons still hold for Elliphant, but while she’s under the care of Diplo and the team at Mad Decent she will be one to keep an eye on. Revolusion comes out on the Look Like You Love It EP out on April 1st. Eric Prydz – Liberate/SW4 Announcement

He doesn’t disappoint too often Eric Prydz, and with recent news that his only London gig of 2014 this year at SW4, you better be head to Clapham this summer to see him in the flesh. Here’s confirmation of that SW4, and a preview of his new single Liberate below. TL
