About Time: You Filled Your Summer with KINDBy Angelica Malin
Looking for some great things to do summer 2019? From music festivals to half marathons, KIND Snacks UK are taking part in some of the UK’s best summer events, as part of their #poweredbyKIND campaign – and we think it’s about time you did, too.
At festivals and sporting events throughout the UK, KIND has created an experience that allows people to turn their kindness into power and they will harness the energy created by people and use it to power things that will benefit everyone! Pretty crazy, we know. They are doing this through having a mixture of DJ sets playing disco funk music, and fun fitness sessions like 80’s aerobics to get people dancing, moving and creating energy. The floor is made up of kinetic panels, so as you dance and move on stage, the flooring coverts the energy into power to light up the panels on the stand in the KIND colours. What’s more, the power banks are equipped with electrical items like straighteners, selfie lights and phone chargers, so you can be festival-ready all weekend.
At the London 10k and Oxford Half, iPads sit either side of the dance floor which are charged up by the energy created & people are asked to type motivational messages which will be shown on trackside to motivate the masses on course. Everyone who visits the stand will be given a free KIND mini bar, running or not! So, now is your chance to get involved. Here’s our top picks for things to do summer 2019:
