Fancy making some dumplings with your pals? Din Tai Fung has recently launched its one-of-a-kind Xiao Long Bao Masterclasses, which are now available to book exclusively at the brand’s Centre Point restaurant.

Providing an insider look at the process behind the brand’s iconic dish, each hour-long masterclass will provide the opportunity for you to make your own taro-filled Xiao Long Bao – carefully guided by specially trained chefs.

Spread across the restaurant’s two private dining rooms, the masterclasses take place in The West Room, where capacity is limited to 10 tickets per session. Following completion of the session, you will then move to The East Room for dinner, which overlooks the bar and lounge area, and onto St Giles Square beyond. The Xiao Long Bao is Din Tai Fung’s signature dish, with each dumpling delicately rolled out, filled, and meticulously folded 18 times. Founded over 60 years ago, the brand serves more than 100 million Xiao Long Bao globally each year.

The bookable masterclasses run on the first Tuesday of every month, with two sessions available at either 4:45pm or 6:45pm, both of which also include a set menu and glass of fizz. Book here.
