In this list, we bring you a break down of some of the best date locations in London.

For the Foodies: Soho

If you or your date consider food to be a passion, then Soho is the perfect place for a date. Soho is home to some of the finest restaurants in London. If you want to pair your meal with a drink, try the combo of Social Eating House and its upstairs bar, The Blind Pig. One of low-lit Blind Pig’s highlights is its unique cocktail list. For example, The Flipster boasts a moustache made up of chocolate bitters, while The Buck Stops Here features “Benjamin Franklin” pegged to the side. Another one of Soho’s treasures is The Palomar, which is currently the areas one of the most talked about restaurants. This Mediterranean restaurant has been receiving great reviews from critics and is a must-visit. Even you don’t have a date, grab one. There are plenty of apps like Badoo with matches for your area, and getting them down The Palomar, with its not-to-be-missed food and cocktails is sure to impress.  

For Saturday dates: Broadway Market

Broadway market is one of the more fashionable date ideas. Known for its celebrity sightings, this market is also a great choice for foodies. Surrounded by quaint shops and pubs, the marketplace is filled with exciting and delicious food stands. Snack on everything seasonal cupcakes to freshly grilled burgers as you explore the market. Stalls sell everything from flowers to old vogue patterns, making it the perfect place to snag a gift for your date.

For boozy dates: The Gin Hotel

Tucked away at 186 Portobello Road, is a four-floor gin lovers paradise. The only working distillery in central London, this unique spot also holds a small museum dedicated to – you guessed it, gin. It’s also a hotel, so if you’re a gin lover whose also looking for an overnight date spot this is the place for you.
For quirky dates: Bounce Club

The Bounce club is a unique venue. A social club for Ping Pong, you can rent a table for your date and challenge them to a match. The club also serves food and alcohol, so you can get a little tipsy as you play. The Farrington location also boasts a certain amount of pedigree in heritage. It was the site where the game of ping pong was created and patented, all the way back in 1901.

For cinema dates: Screen on the Green

London is home to a whole host of enjoyable and unique cinema experiences, up to and including watching films from the rooftops of nearby buildings. However, if you’re looking for a cinema experience that is both unique and classy, Screen on the Green at Islington Green is an excellent choice. It’s exterior is reminiscent classic American cinemas. Indoors its very cosy with sofas replacing regular chairs inside of its screen – perfect for snuggling up on.
