In memory of the tragic passing of Robin Williams, Secret Cinema are putting on a special one-night only event this Friday and are looking for cinemas around the country to do the same. Tickets are almost sold out, but you could also host your own charity screening to raise money for the mental health charity. Here’s what you need to know:

The Lowdown

Secret Cinema is hosting a charity screening of Dead Poets Society this Friday 15th August in London. The charity screening is a tribute to Robin Williams, in partnership with the mental health charity, Mind, and they hope to expand the event after Friday.

What’s On

The London screening at the Troxy, Limehouse kicks off at 7.30 and will include live poetry, live music and many secret surprises to commemorate the life of Robin Williams. Tickets cost £25 and all profits go to charity.

Secret Cinema is looking for partners to join them in hosting simultaneous screenings across the UK and beyond, to honour the extraordinary spirit of Robin Williams and the urgent need to address an issue that concerns all, mental health. All profits from the screening will go to Mind.
