Whether you’re after a new lunchtime option, a place to drink swish cocktails or fancy trying your hand at state-of-the-art gaming, we’ve got you covered. Explore the best of what London has to offer.
1. For an Interactive Game: Immersive GameBox
What: If you’ve seen the Netflix smash hit Squid Game, Immersive Gamebox has teamed up with the streaming giant to bring the TV show to life (albeit virtually).
The Run-Down: The hyper-immersive digital experience invites players to complete six adrenaline-fuelled mini-games as seen in the series – think red light, green light; honeycomb challenge; tug of war; marbles; an adaption of glass stepping stones and, of course, the ultimate finisher – the original Squid Game game. With motion tracking, touch screens, surround sound and drinks delivered during your game, it’s a super fun experience.

3. For Cocktails with a View: The Phoenix Bar
What: Fancy Chinese restaurant Tattu London, inspired by the traditional Chinese courtyard, has unveiled a refreshed cocktail menu at The Phoenix Bar, situated just a few minutes’ walk from Tottenham Court Road.
Drink: Where to start, where to start. Well, with one of Will Meredith’s serves from The Eastern Residence Pantry menu. Will, who is Head of Bars at Tattu, has put together eight serves, with each one highlighting a celebrated Chinese ingredient or concept. For a twist on a classic, try the Oolong Old Fashioned comprising Oolong Sazerac Rye, Brown Butter and Takamaka Rum. Sensational.

4. For a Grab and Go Lunch: Tamarind Tiger
What: If you’ve become tired of your daily meal deal fare (there’s only so many times you can eat a chicken caesar wrap on the reg), Tamarind Tiger, the grab-n-go Indian spot on Baker Street, has announced the launch of a brand-new menu. And it’s perfect for a hearty and healthy lunch.
The Run-Down: The latest menu includes all kinds of delicious morsels – from wraps to salads, meal bowls to light eats and drinks. Expect inventive Indian flavours bringing a refreshing take on popular classics, and making Indian food light, wholesome and easily accessible, anytime. Our pick is the chicken tikka and spiced chickpea salad.

5. For a New Poke Bowl: Poke House
What: The days are getting shorter, the nights colder, and we’re giving our cable knit jumpers an airing. However, it’s not all doom and gloom as Poke House has launched the UK’s first octopus poke bowl, packed with ingredients proven to help improve moods and boost immunities.
The Run-Down: The “Sea Kiss” bowl has been carefully created using unique items with nutritional qualities to help deal with the seasonal change both mentally and physically. A key ingredient for this is octopus, the first poke bowl of its kind using the low-calorie, lean protein.
