Looking for fun things to do in London? We’ve got you covered. From bangin’ doughnuts to not one,  but two unmissable brunches, here’s what we’re loving in the capital right now:

1. For a Fitness Class: Psycle

The Run-Down: Reform-X is the new class offering from Psycle, launched exclusively at their Oxford Circus studio. With a focus on building strength throughout the body, Reform-X is a new wave of reformer which is designed to sculpt the body, promote fat loss, and help relieve stress

The Class: A 55-minute, high-intensity, yet low-impact class with plenty of variations making it suitable for all levels. The state-of-the-art reformer beds and Psycle’s training expertise will give you a great feeling after finishing the class. This class is certainly not one to miss out on; I left the studio feeling fresh and like a new man. I lift weights and play football regularly, however, the aches I had next day were very different to any of those activities. This is certainly a great class to work on some of those forgotten muscles!

2. For Brunch: Madera at Treehouse London

The Run-Down: Madera at Treehouse London offers a unique brunch menu of Mexican food and cocktails. With a live performer bringing the energy, complemented by the amazing London views, this is one brunch you don’t want to miss out on.

Eat and Drink: We ordered the chicken fajita bowl, which was cooked to perfection, bringing out the Mexican flavours accompanied by black beans and cooked peppers. Next course of seasonal fruit was light and refreshing and the perfect warm-up for dessert. For pudding, there was only one choice – Madera’s speciality churros served alongside gloriously glossy chocolate sauce.

For the tequila lovers out there, Madera will become a new home for you. El Rayo is used in all the cocktails providing a smooth tequila taste mixed with the various ingredients. For the more astute tequila lovers, you should be able to find your favourites over the 2 pages of just tequila in the drink’s menu.

Where: 14-15 Langham Place, London W1B 2QS (floor 15)

3. For Sunday Lunch: The Laundry Brixton

The Run-Down: The Laundry, set in the heart of Brixton on Coldharbour Lane, is an ideal place Sunday lunch. If fluffy roasties, well-risen Yorkshire puddings and lashings of gravy are your bag, this is a must-stop for all the roast lovers out there.

Eat and Drink: A plate piled high with roast beef, butternut squash, Yorkshire pudding and potatoes with the slightly controversial addition of pumpkin. Ordered with a side of greens (mum would be proud!). The service here is second to none, and the atmosphere is convivial and welcoming. Add this roast to your list.

Where: The Laundry, 374 Coldharbour Lane, London SW9 8PL

4. For an Afternoon Spritz: Mama Shelter x Lillet x Italicus

The Run-Down: Throughout August and September, Mama Shelter along with drink brands Italicus and Lillet, are bringing Italy to the hotel’s quaint Garden bar in Shoreditch.

The Event: Hidden away in East Londo,n you can find Mama London’s Garden Bar. A beautiful outdoor-style courtyard with eclectic furnishings and an abundance of plants and greenery – it’s the ideal escape from escaping the concrete jungle and transporting you to the Italian countryside.

The bar is ideal for after-work drinks or if you want to impress a date with your knowledge of the best-hidden spots of London. Whatever the occasion, with the sun (hopefully) out, this place is truly special.

5. For a Sculpting Class: Bodyism

The Run-Down: Bodyism creates the very best bespoke training and wellness solutions for Londoners thanks to its range of body moving classes, suitable for all abilities.

The Class: The sculpting class is a feel-good workout that fuses dance, conditioning, and mobility to target smaller muscle groups and engage your core. This workout is certainly one to raise your mood and bring you a smile as well as great workout. With Deanna leading the class and her infectious smile, it’s impossible not to immerse yourself with the music.
