This weekend sees a whole host of fun events taking place in the capital. We know you don’t like trawling through massive lists – so here’s our pick of 5 unmissable events happening in London this weekend. Happy exploring, folks:
Weekend Guide: Saturday 25th November
What: Following their successful first pop-up, the Pilgrim team are back with a second instalment and this weekend is your last chance to try the new menu. Combining the finest Spanish ingredients from the UK’s most reputable farmers, butchers and fishmongers, Pilgrim aims to bring a fresh take on the way food is served and delivered in London by giving each course a story.
Why: Head Chefs, Dave Bone and Anthony Power, have created a menu which will take customers on a culinary journey via key regions on the Camino. Highlights from the last pop up included the salt-baked scallop, cider-braised Iberico short rib and the decadent St. James’ tart with olive oil poached apple.

2. For Workshops, Talks and More: The Imaginarium
What: Launching this weekend, The Imaginarium is a new pop-up arts space featuring a six-week programme of events inspired by the boundless nature of human imagination. The Imaginarium is a fantastical world of bars, bazaars and cosy corners set in a parallel world where Christmas had been cancelled and St Nicky is leading the revolution with a cabal of rebel elves.
Why: Like any good counter-culture, The Imaginarium is rife with artistic activity, fervent talks and creative energy, and this weekend’s highlights include: a Surrealist life drawing class; Chakra yoga and mindful flower arranging; soulful vocals and hazy soundscapes from Bamboo Smoke; as well as a Riff Raff writers workshop with talented authors such as Ali Land and Winnie M Li.

3. For a Carnival in South London: Boxpark Croydon
What: This Saturday (25th November), Benny Page will bring his Rum ‘N’ Riddim party to Boxpark Croydon in association with Bacardi ‘Sound Of Rum’. Fresh from a sell out carnival stint, the event will see a line-up of cutting edge acts from the full spectrum of dancehall, grime, garage and jungle, culminating in an unmissable show.
Why: The king of DnB, Shy FX, will be taking the reins for the Boxpark Croydon exclusive, bringing his inimitable Digital Soundboy rhythms to eager crowds. D Double E, widely seen as one of the greatest UK MCs to have graced the mic will perform, as well as London collective Crazy Cousinz, Benny Page & Sweetie Irie and many more.

4. For a Sushi Feast: Devonshire Club
What: Devonshire Club is launching a new and exciting Sushi in the City weekly brunch, available on Saturday (25th November). All are invited to enjoy a spectacular selection of sushi and sashimi created by in-house Sushi Chef extraordinaire, Victor Klomu.
Why: The Japanese sharing menu will feature an array of crisp raw vegetables with truffle ponzu dip, seafood and vegetable tempura all to accompany a roast pork belly and a warming chilli and coriander ramen. To seal off the offering, diners will also be able to try the Club’s signature crispy duck and pomegranate salad, and a miso-blackened cod will be served as the closing dish.
Price: The menu is a limited offer of £50 per guest, with the option of adding free- flowing prosecco at £15 per guest. Serving will be in two hour slots for minimum of two guests, from 11:30am to 4:30pm every Saturday. Book here.

Weekend Guide: Sunday 26th November
What: The first night of a four-week Sunday residency at Phonox will see Jackmaster bring along some of his best mates and some of the finest selectors and DJs around for a proper Sunday party.
Why: The first instalment sees former Phonox resident Jasper James return for a Glasgow love-in. The duo together have become synonymous with bringing the party with selections that are rooted in house and techno whilst remaining eclectic and true to the dance. Doors open at the earlier time of 4pm with DJs playing through until 10pm. The perfect way to end your weekend.
