Whether you’re American, honorary American or just in it for the pie, London’s restaurants are serving up plenty to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. From sleek dining rooms to neighbourhood haunts, here’s where to tuck in:
1. Sea Containers London, South Bank

What: Sea Containers London leans into its transatlantic roots this Thanksgiving with a four-course feast (£59, including a glass of Fiol Prosecco) served in its riverside restaurant on Thursday 27th November.
Eat and Drink: Begin with a choice of buttermilk cornbread, jumbo shrimp cocktail or devilled eggs, then move on to Norfolk turkey or a rich butternut squash wellington. The sharing sides – green bean and mushroom casserole, Brussels sprouts and mashed potato – keep things classic, before a bourbon pecan pie, ice cream or sorbet rounds off the feast.

2. Roe, Canary Wharf

What: Over at Roe, the Canary Wharf outpost from Will Murray and Jack Croft, Thanksgiving is a sharing affair.
Eat and Drink: On Thursday 27th November, tuck into a family-style menu (£95 per person). Think starters of brie and bacon flatbread with truffle honey pears, and Devon crab salad with horseradish ranch dressing. The centrepiece, a Herons Farm bronze turkey, surrounded by pigs in blankets, stuffing and cranberry sauce and served alongside indulgent crayfish mac & cheese, roast potatoes, sprouts and cornbread. Finish with spiced pumpkin pie and milk ice cream, and caramelised banana parfait with peanut and toaste

3. Christopher’s, Covent Garden

What: A Covent Garden classic since 1991, Christopher’s knows how to do Thanksgiving with style. On 27th November, they’re rolling out a three-course menu with all the bells and whistles.
Eat and Drink: Its Thanksgiving spread (£85) opens with dishes like roast sweetcorn and chorizo chowder or smoked duck tacos. The main event is a slow-cooked turkey ballotine with cornbread stuffing and cranberry relish, though there’s plenty of choice, from a Missouri-spiced rack of lamb to a USDA rib-eye. Dessert keeps things comforting: pumpkin pie with bourbon Chantilly, a warm apple crumble, or a chocolate brownie dripping in Valrhona sauce.

4. Julie’s, Holland ParkÂ

What: Julie’s in Holland Park is set to mark this year’s Thanksgiving with a four-course sharing menu (£85) created by chef Owen Kenworthy, available for both lunch and dinner on Thursday 27th November
Eat and Drink: House-made butter rolls arrive alongside pumpkin butter, followed by a trio of starters for the table: pear and walnut salad with maple-glazed bacon, duck liver parfait with onion marmalade, and sweet potato rösti in lobster tarragon sauce. The main course is a dry-brined turkey crown with leg stuffing, mashed potatoes, glazed Brussels sprouts and turkey gravy, finished with baked brie and a classic pumpkin pie served with Julie’s signature pumpkin ice cream and spiced pain d’épices crumb. Glamorous, playful and unapologetically indulgent, it’s a Thanksgiving with a London twist.

5. Rondo x Rasputin’s, Holborn

What: For one night only (27th November), Rondo at The Hoxton, Holborn are going all-in on Thanksgiving, Hox-style. Teaming up with Hackney bar Rasputin’s, who will be shaking up cocktails inspired by dive-bar classics, the menu champions an elevated take on American comfort food made with British produce.
Eat and Drink: The £60 menu opens with chicken liver parfait, smoked trout pavé and roasted sweet potato arancini, before moving on to maple and thyme turkey, Coca-Cola-braised gammon or a hearty squash and lentil wellington. Sides include apricot and bacon stuffing, mac and cheese, and roasted sprouts with candied pecans, with winter-spiced pumpkin pie rounding things off.

6. Drake & Morgan, Various Locations

What: From 11th November to Thanksgiving Day itself (27th), Drake & Morgan is serving up a slice of Americana with festive feasts and Thanksgiving cocktails.
Eat and Drink: The Thanksgiving Feast (£44.95) begins with clam chowder and warm sourdough, followed by roast turkey with all the trimmings. To finish, there’s a choice of gooey s’mores layered with chocolate and toasted meringue, or the classic pumpkin pie topped with whipped cream. And don’t miss the Thanksgiving cocktails (£13.95): Georgia Peach Tini, the Pumpkin Lemonade and the Sour Apples, all made with Jack Daniel’s Tennessee whiskey.

7. Bar 45 at 45 Park Lane, Mayfair

What: Thanksgiving goes bite-sized at BAR 45 in 45 Park Lane, where chef Elliott Grover and bar manager Enrico Perri have created a week-long menu of playful small plates and cocktails (24th – 30th November).
Eat and Drink: Expect roast turkey, sage and onion croquettes, devils on horseback wrapped in turkey bacon with mustard mayonnaise, and a pecan pie with maple cream to finish. A transatlantic nod to the holiday with all the flavour, none of the formality.

8. Claridge’s x Dante, Mayfair

What: Mayfair institution Claridge’s brings a touch of Manhattan to London this Thanksgiving, in partnership with Greenwich Village cocktail bar Dante.
Eat and Drink: Starters are designed for sharing, from radicchio and honeycrisp apple with aged cheddar and maple vinaigrette to a kale caesar and Severn & Wye smoked salmon with pickled cucumber, butternut squash and orange. The main event is oven-roasted Norfolk turkey with an apricot-stuffed leg, maple-glazed ham, cranberry sauce, apple mostarda and rich gravy, served alongside roast potatoes, balsamic-roasted Brussels sprouts and braised red cabbage. Dessert keeps the classics with pumpkin cheesecake with crème fraîche and toasted pumpkin seeds, or pecan pie with milk ice cream and pecan praline.
For £30 extra, two of Dante’s signature seasonal cocktails can be added: a spiced cranberry spritz, blending Aperol, spiced cranberry and Perrier Jouët Champagne, or a decadent tiramisu eggnog with Amaretto.

9. Sam’s Riverside, Hammersmith

What: At Sam’s Riverside in Hammersmith, head chef Karol Mielczarek offers a Thanksgiving set menu (£65) celebrating American classics.
Eat and Drink: Starters include New England-style ham and sweetcorn chowder, maple-glazed pumpkin with orange crème fraîche and chestnuts, or scallops Rockefeller. Mains range from dry-aged sirloin with triple-cooked chips to roasted Cornish hake with crayfish tails and shellfish bisque, or a salt-baked celeriac and wild mushroom wellington with baby beets and carrots. Desserts keep things sweetly American with pecan pie and vanilla ice cream, New York cheesecake, or apple cobbler with maple and walnut ice cream.

10. RAILS, King’s Cross

What: RAILS at the Great Northern Hotel brings Thanksgiving to King’s Cross with a three-course feast (£45) rooted in all-American comfort.
The Lowdown: There’s New England clam and mussel chowder to begin, before plates of roast turkey with cornbread stuffing, maple-roasted sweet potatoes, collard greens and cranberry sauce. Dessert keeps things traditional with pecan pie and vanilla ice cream, rounded off with a bourbon macaron. Available on Thursday 27 November, 12pm – 10pm.
