We’ve been big fans of Crosstown’s doughy wares since day dot (order the peanut butter and berry compote doughnut and thanked us later). Since arriving on the London food scene in 2014, the one street food stall has expanded into 21 retailers across the capital.

Having conquered doughnuts and most recently, ice cream, the Crosstown bakers have been hard at work on their next delicious project: cookies. It’s in times like these you realise the high-street is missing out on good quality cookies (not too sweet or cakey – it’s a fine line), but, thankfully, Crosstown fills that void.

There’s two flavours available in stores and online for delivery across the UK via their website.

Black Cocoa – A dark rich cookie with an intense deep black cocoa. Crosstown has sought out an extra bitter dark chocolate chip which has been drawn from three of the top cocoa bean producing nations and has been specially blended to give woody and forest fruit notes.

Chocolate Chip – Crosstown’s decadent take on a cookie classic using the finest ingredients. This cookie is a blend of the creamiest milk chocolate chips that have hints of caramel and aromatic hazelnut with specially sourced dark chocolate chips. Look out for hints of cinnamon and Tongan vanilla.
