World Gin Day (12th June) is a global celebration of all things gin and it’s only right to commemorate the special day with a cocktail in hand. Keep it simple with a G&T using Beefeater classic dry or mix it up and try one of four flavours (perfect for summer) – Peach and Raspberry, Pink, Blackberry and Blood Orange. The Pink and Orange Tonic

Serve: Block (must be clear)

Ingredients

– 50ml Beefeater Pink

– 50ml fresh blood orange juice

– 2 dashes orange bitters

– 50ml tonic water

Garnish

Dehydrated blood orange or fresh blood orange wheel with large rosemary sprig

Method

  1. Fill a carafe with ice.
  2. Add gin, blood orange juice and orange bitters.
  3. Top with tonic water and gently stir.
  4. Garnish with a blood orange slice and serve.

Fresh Basil Smash

Serve: Tumbler

Ingredients

– 50ml Beefeater Dry

– Bunch of fresh basil

– 25ml fresh lemon juice

– 10ml agave syrup

– 2.5 extra virgin olive oil

Method

  1. Place basil and lemon into a shaker.
  2. Gently muddle the lemon.
  3. Add agave syrup, olive and Beefeater Gin and top up with ice.
  4. Shake vigorously.
  5. Fine strain into a rock glass.
  6. Add ice and garnish with a sprig of basil.

Green Mary Snapper

Serve: Highball

Ingredients

– 50ml Beefeater Dry

– 250ml fresh pineapple juice

– 25ml fresh lime juice

– 2ml honey

– Pinch of fresh coriander

– Pinch of fresh mint

– Small pinch of sea salt

– Green Tabasco or green chilli sauce to taste

Method

  1. Blend all ingredients together excluding the Beefeater gin. Once blended and strained, taste and adjust for balance as required.
  2. Pour into jug or bottle and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  3. To serve, add Beefeater Dry gin to a tall glass over cubed ice then stir in the prepared mix and garnish with a coriander sprig and fresh pineapple slice.

Gin Mimosa

Serve: Highball

Ingredients

– 25ml Beefeater Dry

– 25ml orange juice

– Champagne

– 5ml agave syrup (optional)

Method

  1. Add gin, juice and agave to shaker.
  2. Shake with ice and strain into a champagne flute.
  3. Top with champagne.
  4. Garnish with orange twist.

Sage Against the Machine

Serve: Highball

Ingredients

– 50ml Beefeater Dry

– 40ml pressed apple juice

– 10ml fresh lemon juice

– 5ml sugar syrup

– Small pinch of sea salt

– 2/3 sage leaves

– Soda water

Method

  1. Add all ingredients, except for the soda, to a cocktail shaker and shake hard.
  2. Add soda water to a tall glass over ice then fine strain the rest of the cocktail into the glass and top with more soda if required.
  3. Garnish.
