Whether you’re a Margarita loyalist or curious about new agave twists, the capital is serving up inventive cocktails, terrace takeovers and tequila-led menus for National Tequila Day 2025. Happy sipping, folks.
What: Tequila tasting meets plant-based feasting at Mildreds Camden. Join the experts from sustainable premium drinks brand, Ten Locks, for a guided sip through Blanco, Resposado and aged Añejo Gran Reserva tequilas perfectly paired with Mexican dishes. The event celebrates the arrival of Mildreds’ new Off the Rails South American-inspired cocktail menu, available at all restaurants.
Where: Mildreds Camden, 9 Jamestown Rd, London NW1 7BW
Tickets are £25 and the experience starts from 6:30pm on 17th July, to book visit here.
What: Downstairs at Sucre in Soho is shaking things up with its new Trending Margarita Menu. Every month brings a new twist on the classic cocktail with seasonal ingredients and daring flavour combinations. Up for July is the Avocado Coconut Margarita–an unexpected but smooth blend of avocado coconut oil-washed tequila, Velvet Falernum, pineapple and lime.
Where: 47B Great Marlborough Street, London W1F 7JP
What: Battersea Power Station’s unique glass elevator experience, Lift 109, will celebrate National Tequila Day (24th July) with a tequila tasting experience like no other… 109 metres in the sky! Atop the Power Station’s north west chimney, Drinks Expert and Educator, Jane Peyton, will guide visitors through the history and craftsmanship of tequila making, as they savour the aromas and flavours of a curated selection of the agave spirit – all while taking in the spectacular 360-degree views of the London skyline.
Where: The Power Station, Circus Rd W, Nine Elms, London SW8 5BN
What: Tucked beneath the streets, The Lucky Pig is throwing a full-blown Tequila Fiesta on 24th July. And it’s 2-for-1 on all tequila drinks, all night long. Go classic with a Tommy’s Margarita, or try something punchier like the Mexican New Fashioned, made with HACIEN Pineapple: the UK’s first 100% agave pineapple tequila. It’s bold, fun, and unapologetically agave-fuelled. Just the way National Tequila Day should be.
What: Step into Casa Mana at The Folly by Drake & Morgan – a tropical tequila pop-up with Teremana, founded by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Sip your way through cocktails like the zesty Mana Paloma and punchy Thai T, or take things to the next level with the Teremana Tequila Masterclass for a hands-on chance to shake, stir and sip while learning all about small-batch tequila.
What: For National Tequila Day, Casamigos teams up with chef Tom Sellers’ Mayfair restaurant, Dovetale, for a terrace takeover that’s equal parts charm and indulgence. At the heart of it all: customisable frozen Margs, served tableside from a vintage Knickerbocker Glory trolley. Guests choose their base — think strawberry sorbet, apricot or zesty lime — pair it with their favourite Casamigos tequila, and finish with a selection of toppings.
Where: 1 Hotel Mayfair, 1 Dover Yard, London W1J 8NE
What: The Sun Tavern doesn’t do basic, and neither should you. The Real Housewives is a smoky, savoury sipper blending the bold backbone of Ocho Blanco Tequila with the fire of Quiquiriquí Mezcal, while prickly pear and manzanilla keep it as sharp and elegant as a perfectly timed side-eye reminiscent of any episode of Housewives. Finished with a salty Perello olive and a whisper of smoked almond, it’s the kind of drink that demands drama and delivers. Sip slowly, and don’t spill the tea.
What: A bold collision of smoke, spice and sweetness. Parasol’s Korean Jesus isn’t here to play it safe. Ocho Blanco Tequila and Quiquiriquí Mezcal lay down a clean, smoky base, while plum soju and honey bring a rich, layered sweetness. Gochujang delivers a low, steady heat, cut with fresh ginger and coriander, and finished with a toasted sesame edge. Complex, confident and unexpected, just like the best nights at Parasol.
What: For National Tequila Day, head to Ryan Chetiyawardana’s lo-fi East London bar, Seed Library, and try the Breakfast Bellini: a bold blend of Patrón tequila, century beans, breakfast fruits and Champagne. It’s part of the new Pathways menu, where each cocktail bends expectations and builds flavour in surprising, precise ways.
What: At The Cinnamon Club, Vivek Singh gives the classic a bold rework: pink peppercorn-infused tequila, pomegranate reduction and a hit of grapefruit fizz come together in a drink that’s as playful as it is polished. Served in the grand surrounds of the Grade II-listed former Westminster Library, it’s a refined nod to National Tequila Day (with spice, balance and serious style).
Where: The Old Westminster Library, Great Smith St, London SW1P 3BU
