Halloween cocktails are quite the gimmick, but you know what…. who needs an excuse to make boozy serves at home? If you’re hosting, or just waiting for the trick or treaters, we got a selection of devishly delicious cocktails to try this Halloween:

1. For a Coffee Cocktail: Mr. Black

The Drink: Mr Black Pumpkin Spice Calypso Cocktail

Ingredients: 

– 50ml of Mr Black

– 2tbsp of Double cream

– 150ml of Black coffee

– 12.5ml Pumpkin spice syrup

– Freshly grated nutmeg

Method:

Pour the coffee into a heatproof glass then add Mr Black Pumpkin Spice Syrup. Whip the cream lightly and pour it over the back of a spook on the top. Sprinkle with nutmeg to garnish and enjoy!

2. For a Spooktacular Punch: Slingsby Gin

The Drink: Marmalade Halloween Punch

Ingredients: 

– 1 Part Slingsby Marmalade Gin

– 1 Part Blood orange juice

– ½ Part Lemon juice

– 1 Jar of marmalade preserve

– Top with Prosecco

Method: 

Combine all ingredients in a large punch bowl and serve with plenty of ice. Garnish with orange slices and drizzle grenadine over the top.

3. For a Rum Cocktail: Luc Belaire

The Drink: Rum n Roses

Ingredients:

– 36ml White Rum

– 15ml Elderflower liqueur

– 15ml Sugar syrup

– 8ml Lemon juice

– Top with Belaire Rose

Method: 

Add the white rum, elderflower liqueur, simple syrup, lemon juice and absinthe into a cocktail shaker and shake over ice until all ingredients are cold. Pour the liquid into a coupe. Place a ball of ice into the glass. Using a bar spoon, layer Belaire Rosé onto the liquid in the glass to create a distinctive visual effect.

4. For a Caramel Cocktail: Bumbu

The Drink: Bumbu’s special Halloween cocktail

Ingredients:

– 45ml Bumbu Rum

– 5ml Caramel

– 15ml Kahlúa

– 15ml Tawny Port

– 6 dashes of Angostura bitters

– Absinthe

– Sugar cubes

– Chocolate dust

– Orange twist

Method: 

Dust the base of a goblet glass with chocolate powder and store it in the freezer. Stir all ingredients except absinthe in a mixing glass, strain the mixture into a flask and set aside. Place a brown sugar cube in a tea strainer and submerge in absinthe, once soaked set on fire. Pour the cocktail through the flame into the prepared glass, and garnish with an orange twist.

5. For a Smokey Cocktail: Smokehead Original

The Drink: Tikki Taboo

Ingredients:

– 50ml Smokehead Original                    

– 4 dashes of bitters                                                 

– 25ml lime cordial 

– Crushed ice

– Top up with fresh ginger beer

Method:

Fill up your highball glass with crushed ice, add Smokehead Original, bitters and lime cordial and top up with fresh ginger beer.

6. For a Pumpkin Spiced Cocktail: Sagamore Spirit

The Drink: Sagamore Pumpkin Spice Sipper

Ingredients: 

– 45ml Sagamore Spirit Signature Rye Whiskey
– 45ml Pumpkin puree
– 45ml Sweetened condensed milk
– One heavy dash pumpkin spice
– Ground cinnamon for garnish

Method: 

Fill shaker halfway with ice and add all ingredients. Shake to combine all ingredients. Strain into a rocks glass over one large ice cube. Garnish with a dusting of ground cinnamon.
