There are wine bars, and then there’s Tiny Wine: a pint-sized spot in Fitzrovia that may just be the smallest in London. Tucked into a 200-square-foot corner site on Foley Street, this new opening from the team behind Crudo Cocina Latina proves that good things really do come in small packages.

Tiny Wine is run by Maria Yanez and Carlos Socorro, who’ve swapped ceviche counters for corkscrews, bringing a dose of Latin American soul to the neighbourhood. The vibe is low-lit and convivial, with soft beats, a lively bar and the gentle clink of glasses being passed from table to table. You might stop in for a quick glass of something interesting and stay for three more and a sandwich, naturally.

The wine list is small but sharp. Around 50 bottles, mostly natural or low-intervention, and chosen from small producers who do things properly. Expect both classics and more obscure pours, depending on the season. Alongside that, a handful of cocktails (think tequila ginger spritz, mezcal negroni), and a few select beers.

Food is punchy and made for sharing. The menu stretches from Basque-style Gildas with a Latin twist to bocadillos (mini sandwiches) like the Cubanito, stuffed with pulled pork, honey ham, and pickles, or the sweet-and-savoury Romeo & Julieta, with mozzarella and guava. There’s also ceviche, smoky octopus and other tapas-style plates designed to be eaten with your hands and matched with wine.

Yes, it’s small. But Tiny Wine has bags of charm, a big heart and a community feel that’s hard to mimic. Consider this our new favourite spot.
