These delicious make-at-home festive cocktails from Russian Standard Vodka are the perfect tipple to shake up this Christmas and raise spirits in uncertain times. No mixology experience required:
Christmas Blossom
Serves 1
Ingredients:
¾ cup Russian Standard Vodka
2 cups fresh or frozen peach slices
¼ cup sugar
3 tablespoons peach schnapps
Ice cubes
Fresh mint springs, for garnish
Method:
Process first 4 ingredients in a blender until smooth. Add ice cubes to the mixture in a blender (to 5 cup level) and mix until smooth. Pour into a coupe glass and garnish with fresh mint.
Yule Mule
Serves 2
Ingredients:
50ml Russian Standard Vodka
60ml unsweetened Cranberry juice
Juice of 1 lime
80ml Ginger beer
Cranberries, to garnish
Rosemary sprig, to garnish
Method:
Shake first three ingredients into a glass over ice. Top up with ginger beer and garnish.
Spiced Hot Chocolate
Serves 3
Ingredients:
60ml Russian Standard Vodka
1/2 cup chopped dark chocolate
2 cup of milk
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
dash of salt
1 chilli pepper, split in half and seeds removed
1–4 tablespoons sugar/honey
Method:
Melt chocolate in milk in a saucepan. Add cinnamon, vanilla, and chilli pepper and bring to simmer. Remove and let sit for 10 mins. Discard the chilli pepper and stir in sugar/honey to taste. Add Vodka. Serve.
