Looking for something different to do next week?

Erev, the new evening dining experience from Shuk, is collaborating with Bubala, the celebrated vegetarian Middle Eastern restaurant from Marc Summers, to create an exclusive sharing menu. They will be partnering for one night only to create a set menu of Tel Aviv inspired food, to be enjoyed alfresco in Borough Market on Thursday 3rd September.

Taking the Bubala team back to their roots of pop-ups, Helen Graham of Bubala, and Mark Jankel of Erev, are collaborating on a set of new dishes specifically for the evening, centred around a set vegetarian sharing menu. Both Shuk; and Bubala find inspiration in Tel Aviv’s famous street food, drawing on their bold use of market ingredients, spices and family recipes.

Highlights from the menu on the night include aubergine carpaccio with zhoug, date syrup, smoked almonds & sumac pickled onions and roasted broccoli with tahini yoghurt, Za’atar pickled mushrooms & dried tomatoes.

This is the first of a series of collaborations with renowned chefs that Erev will be hosting each Thursday. Each collaboration will take place for one night only with limited ticket numbers.

Numbers for the dinner are limited, with two sittings of 30 covers, at 6.45pm and 8.30pm, served from Shuk’s covered terrace. Tickets will be £35 per person for the vegetarian set menu, with a vegan version also available.

Thursday 3rd September at Shuk, Borough Market, London, SE1 9AGe. Tickets are available here.
