1. For Pancakes: Drake and Morgan

What: Hot on the London trend for big breakfasts and boozy brunches, Drake & Morgan has launched its Sunday Brunch in six beautiful bars and restaurants across London, including The Refinery on Bankside – our personal favourite.

Eat: The all-day breakfast includes everything you’d expect any time of the day from a Eggs Benedict and a gourmet bacon sandwich to beautiful blueberry pancakes with lashings of maple syrup and an awesome avocado on sourdough with chilli and poached egg. They’ve also got four different Bloody Marys, including a Fruity Mary with apple and pear. Don’t miss the Ketel One Vodka Kitchen pop-up at The Folly, too.

Why: Crafted by executive chef Robert Mitchell, making the most of seasonal, British ingredients and drawing on inspiration from across the globe, their Sunday Brunch is epic.

2. For Eggs Benedict: Tom’s Kitchen

What: Tom’s Kitchen Chelsea are serving the ‘Ultimate Truffled Eggs Benedict’ on their specials board. Priced at £18, the dish has a muffin topped with a poached duck egg, prosciutto and hollandaise with gratings of truffle. Perfect for a Father’s Day treat or an indulgent brunch over the weekend!

Eat: Tom’s Kitchen is fantastic for brunch – we can’t recommend their French Toast highly enough. There’s a new a la carte spring menu, with seasonal delights, as well as some literally incredible brunch cocktails. For the healthy brunchers, try the Superfood Granola with honey, Greek yoghurt, milk. For the indulgent ones, you can’t miss the Brioche French Toast with caramelised apples, cinnamon cream, berry pancakes and Eggs Benedict. If you like avocado on toast, you’ll their twist on the classic – it comes with chilli, cashew nuts, mixed seeds, farmhouse toast. Heaven.

3. For Bloody Marys: Sea Containers

What: After the launch of their incredible weekend brunch (which you can read about here), Sea Containers at Mondrian London have added a Bloody Mary cart and more terrace seating to their brunch offering. Come for the blueberry pancakes, they are the best we’ve ever tried in London.

Eat: Brunch-goers can design bespoke Bloody Marys by selecting their preferred ingredients from a tick box menu. The personalised cocktail will then be mixed at the new Bloody Mary cart – the tick box menu offers a choice of spirits and tomato juices as well a range of additional ingredients, hot sauces, garnishes, and salt rims. Garnishes range from classic celery through to oysters and bacon while choices of hot sauces range from Tabasco to Cholula and Sriracha.

Why: With additional seats on the Sea Containers terrace, you can now choose to brunch alfresco this summer. The restaurant will also be throwing open their floor to celling windows for brunch to give a summery, alfresco feel to their dining room. Sunshine brunch, can’t get much better than that, can you?

Why: Founded by friends Max and Jo, breakfastinbed was born out of a love of good breakfasts and a desire for freshly prepared, homemade food that doesn’t cost the earth or involve over-crowded cafes. Having lived in West London for years, the pair launched breakfastinbed from a kitchen in Ladbroke Grove. We think it’s a brilliant idea.

5. For Posh Nosh: 108 Brasserie

What: 108 Brasserie, the trendy brasserie in Marylebone, is launching a new brunch menu, so come and relax  over weekend brunch on the terrace, in the Brasserie or with a cocktail in the bar.

Eat: As well as great Eggs Benedict, Florentine and Royale, you can also look forward to soft boiled duck eggs with grilled Wye Valley asparagus, smoked haddock potato cakes with spinach and lemon or a Josper grilled ribeye steak with fried eggs. If you’re looking to start the weekend on a healthier note, try the homemade granola or superfood egg white omelette with chia seeds and spinach. Or the salted popcorn, peanut butter ice cream and caramel sauce dessert, that’s also dreamy.
