Although we may not be getting back into restaurants for a couple more months, DIY kits have been a saving grace throughout lockdown(s). From fine dining to street food classics, these humble care packages have been greatly received in home kitchens across the country.

Adding to the growing roster of restaurant-quality meals, delivered to your door, Brixton’s neighbourhood bistro and wine bar, The Laundry, have launched The Laundretters Overnighter cook-at-home meal box. The box includes everything needed to recreate a restaurant-style three-course dinner and drinks for Friday night, as well as cocktails and brunch for Saturday morning.

The box comes complete with three courses for dinner accompanied by pre-mixed Winter Negronis and a bottle of matched Malbec (chosen by Mel Brown, founder and wine expert). The following day you have everything you need to cook up indulgent Croque Madames and Bloody Marys, too. Dinner dishes change bi-weekly, kicking-off this week with chicken liver parfait followed by confit duck, winter cassoulet, all the sides and finished with chocolate ginger torte (vegan options are also available).

Boxes are available for takeaway and delivery on Friday. Boxes are priced at just £50 per person (£90 for two), with vegan options from £45 pp including all food and drink options. For more information, see here.
